Rose Wine Sveti Martin – Vipava, Slovenia

Vinification: Hand-harvested in early September. Grapes undergo brief skin contact to achieve a delicate color before gentle pressing. Fermentation takes place on fine lees in stainless steel containers, followed by 4 months of maturation in oak barrels to enhance smoothness and aromatic complexity.

Characteristics: Soft salmon-pink color with bright reflections. The bouquet is fresh and inviting, combining notes of red berries, wild strawberries, and subtle floral tones. On the palate, it is lively and elegant, with balanced acidity and a smooth, refreshing texture. Medium-bodied, harmonious, and crisp, with a clean, fruity finish that lingers pleasantly.

Food pairings: Light summer dishes, Mediterranean salads, grilled prawns, poultry, or soft cheeses. Serving temperature: 10 – 12° C.
